How do I report online or electronically on Form 460 itemized information regarding expenditures for gifts, meals, or travel?
California Code of Regulations section 18421.7 (PDF) requires detailed itemization regarding certain expenditures for gifts, meals, or travel by a committee controlled by a candidate. See, also, Government Code section 84211(k)(4). The regulation applies to reporting of expenditures of $100 or more made after June 30, 2008.
The information required by Regulation 18421.7 should be disclosed in the "Description of Payment" field of Schedule E, F, or G for each applicable entry. If additional space is needed, the "memo field" should be used.
