Resources for County Elections Officials

The Secretary of State provides National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) training materials for county elections officials. County Reporting Training focuses on the requirements set forth in California Elections Code sections 2400 – 2408 and provides guidance on how to identify VRAs in the county as well as how to track and report registrations submitted by clients of those agencies. List Maintenance Training focuses on California Elections Code sections 2200 – 2226 with an emphasis on change of address confirmation notices and change of address procedures and cancellations.
