Secretary of State’s Office to Conduct Randomized Alphabet Drawing for April 4 Congressional District 34 Special Election

WHAT:

Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the April 4 Congressional District 34 special election ballot.

This election is being held to fill the vacancy after Rep. Xavier Becerra resigned after being confirmed as California’s Attorney General.

Candidates, members of the media, and the public are invited to observe the drawing.
