About the Task Force
Pursuant to election code section 4008, the Voter's Choice Task Force brings together County elections officials; Individuals with expertise in language accessibility under the federal Voting Rights Act of 1965; Advocates for people with disabilities, including service providers and community organizations; and election experts with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities of the Voter's Choice Task Force
The Voter's Choice Task Force reviews elections conducted pursuant to Section 4005 and provides comments and recommendations to the Legislature, within six months of each election conducted pursuant to Section 4005. The report required by this subdivision is then submitted in compliance with Section 9795 of the Government Code.
