This page contains archived Lobbying Directories and historical reports compiled from studies conducted between 1990 and 2005. These reports analyze the amount of spending to lobby the California State Legislature and influence state decisions. The studies compile vast information submitted in lobbying expenditure statements by lobbying firms and their employers who file these quarterly statements with the Secretary of State.
The most current lobbying spending analysis, 2005 Lobbying Report, is at the top of the list and is located under the historical Lobbying Directories. The remainder of the reports cover either an entire calendar year or a two-year legislative session.
The underlined titles of the reports are downloadable PDF or ZIP files on the internet.
