California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., Announces Early Voting Locations
Now Open
in All Counties

Sacramento, Calif. – California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., announces that for the first time at least one location in all counties will be open for early voting on Saturday, May 30, 2026, for the June 2, 2026, Primary Election.

“California continues to lead the way in ensuring all eligible voters have an opportunity to cast a ballot and have their voice heard,” said Secretary Weber. “Providing an early voting location in each county expands these efforts. I encourage voters to take advantage of these important opportunities.”

AB 1249 (Chapter 296, Statutes of 2025) requires traditional polling place counties to provide at least one early voting location on the Saturday before any statewide election. The early voting locations must be open for at least 6 hours.

At any of these early voting locations, voters may vote in person, drop off their ballot, receive a replacement ballot, vote using an accessible voting machine, access voting materials in multiple languages, update their voter registration, as well as complete same day registration.
