Sacramento, Calif. – California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., announced that the results of the June 2, 2026, Congressional District 1 Special Primary Election was certified on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The winner is:

Congressional District 1
James Gallagher, Republican Party

The winner of the Congressional District 1 Special Primary Election will serve the remainder of the current term.
