California Secretary of State’s Office to Conduct Randomized Alphabet Drawing for November 4, 2025, Local Elections 
 

WHAT:

The California Secretary of State’s office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the November 4, 2025, Local Election ballots.  

WHEN: 

August 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. 

WHERE:

In person:  Secretary of State's Office -  

1500 11th Street, 5th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814 

Streaming: The drawing will also be streamed live via Zoom.
