TODAY: Secretary of State Alex Padilla and Attorney General Xavier Becerra to hold Virtual Press Conference Briefing on Reports of Unofficial Ballot Drop Boxes
SACRAMENTO, CA - Secretary of State Alex Padilla will be joined by Attorney General Xavier Becerra, and Registrar of Voters from Los Angeles and Orange counties for a virtual press conference briefing to address the reports of unofficial ballot drop boxes in the State of California. The Secretary of State’s office issued guidance to county elections officials on unofficial ballot drop boxes here.
This virtual press conference briefing is open to credentialed media on a first come first served basis. Please email sos.press@sos.ca.gov to RSVP.
For those unable to join, we will release a recording of the virtual press conference following its conclusion.
