Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Participate in Press Conference Call on Census Operations Resuming in Northern California
SACRAMENTO, CA – Secretary of State Alex Padilla will participate in a press conference call with a coalition of Northern California Census leaders as U.S. Census operations restart in the region. The press conference will highlight joint efforts spanning the Region One tract to achieve a complete count for California, ensuring that communities will receive the resources they need. Secretary Padilla serves as Chair of the California Complete Count Committee for the 2020 U.S. Census.
The Region One tract covers Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo, and Yuba counties.
