Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Visit Rosemead High School and Pitzer College
LOS ANGELES - Secretary of State Alex Padilla will visit Rosemead High School Friday, April 22, as part of High School Voter Education Weeks (April 18 – 29).
At 2:00 p.m. Secretary Padilla will visit Pitzer College to speak about civic engagement and the 2016 elections. This special event is a part of the “Mindful of the Future" Speaker Series sponsored by the Pitzer College Student Senate.
At both events, Secretary of State Padilla will discuss the importance of voter registration and the role young people can play in shaping the future through civic participation.
