Polling Place Accessibility Surveyor Training Video

The Polling Place Accessibility Surveyor Training Video was produced to help county elections officials better understand and apply federal and state requirements to create accessible polling places. The training video gives a brief overview of polling place accessibility requirements to augment the Secretary of State's Polling Place Accessibility Guidelines.

The training video was produced in consultation with the California Department of Rehabilitation and in cooperation with the Secretary of State's Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee and several county elections officials.

To request the training video on DVD, please contact the Secretary of State's Elections Division at (916) 657-2166 or by email.

The training video is also offered below in segments for download in two accessible formats: audio descriptions and open captions. Audio descriptions use narration to describe the action in the video. Open captions are on-screen text versions of the words spoken in the video.

The video segments below can be downloaded in any one of the file formats (MPEG4, OGG or WEBM) and may take several minutes to download.
