Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Kick-Off Early Voting for the March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA – Secretary of State Alex Padilla will visit the Sacramento County Elections Office to kick-off early voting in California on Monday, February 3 at 10:00am. Beginning February 3, California voters can cast their vote early by visiting their local county elections office and requesting a ballot.

Secretary Padilla will be joined by Sacramento County Registrar of Voters Courtney Bailey and several community groups for a brief press conference. Voters will also be on hand to cast their ballots—hours before the Iowa Caucuses.

February 3 also marks the beginning of the vote-by-mail period for California’s March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary. California voters who choose to vote by mail can expect to see their ballots arriving in the coming days.
