Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Register Sacramento Woman to Vote for her 105^th Birthday

SACRAMENTO, CA – Secretary of State Alex Padilla will join Mrs. Edna Prokosch on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. to celebrate her 105^th birthday and re-registration as a voter in Sacramento County. Mrs. Prokosch has been a registered voter since she first became eligible at 21 years of age in her home state of Minnesota.

Edna first came to California in 1942, when she and her husband moved to Glendale. From there, Mrs. Prokosch moved to various Southern California cities and spent some time in Oregon, until her daughter moved her to Paradise. After living there for 4 years, Edna moved to Sacramento County following the devastating Paradise fires. She now resides at Gramercy Court Assisted Living. Mrs. Prokosch will reach 105 years of age officially on December 25, 2019.
