OAKLAND, CA – Secretary of State Alex Padilla will participate in the Law and Social Justice Academy Speaker Series at Oakland High School on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Oakland High School’s Social Justice & Reform (SJR) pathway informs and prepares students for careers in education, law, and community organizations with a focus on social justice and current events. Through experiential learning opportunities, exposure to a variety of careers, and structured academic support, students become active participants in advocating change for their community.
