Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Deliver Keynote Address at the Future of California Elections Conference 

SACRAMENTO – California Secretary of State Alex Padilla will deliver the keynote address at the Future of California Elections Conference Thursday, March 8 in Los Angeles. Secretary Padilla will discuss the implementation and impact of the Voter's Choice Act. Over 250 election stakeholders from across California, including elections officials and advocates are expected to attend.

Future of California Elections is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders to modernize elections and expand participation in California. The 2018 Conference will explore the challenges and opportunities of California’s new election reforms, including Same Day Voter Registration and the California Voter’s Choice Act.
