Secretary of State Padilla to Speak at

State Senate Budget Hearing and Tribal Water Summit

SACRAMENTO – California Secretary of State Alex Padilla will testify about his office’s budgetary needs at the State Senate Budget Subcommittee 4 on State Administration and General Government on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Topics will include election cybersecurity and the need to invest in new voting systems throughout the state, business filing processing, and the Safe at Home confidential address program.

In January, Governor Brown included $134.3 million in his budget proposal to replace aging voting systems.
