A JL-3 Notice of Judgment Lien Release or Subordination form is used to change or update
information on a previously filed Judgment Lien (JL-1). A Notice of Judgment Lien Release or Subordination must
be filed on a JL-3 form. There is no limit to the number of JL-3 forms that may be submitted on any one filing.
This Notice of Judgment Lien Release or Subordination (Form JL-3), must be reproduced in a format prescribed
by the Secretary of State's Office, including printing on 8 1/2" x 11," white paper.
Submittals that do not conform to the form specifications will be rejected.
