Care of Paper and Photographic Materials

Samples and handouts will include the Care of Photographs, Acid in Paper, and Encapsulation. These samples give ideas on how to store and display your personal collections. Specific handouts on mat cutting, storage of color slides, negative storage, and mounting techniques will be reviewed and explained with a special emphasis on home use.

Talks have been given to genealogical societies, county archives, historical societies and during the California State Archives annual Family History Day. Contact the Preservation Department to schedule a Talk.
