Secretary of State Alex Padilla on Las Vegas Shooting

SACRAMENTO – California Secretary of State Alex Padilla released the following statement in response to the mass shooting in Las Vegas: 

“Angela and I were stunned and heartbroken upon learning of last night’s horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas. It is tragic to learn that several California law enforcement officers were among the wounded. Our hearts are with the victims of this senseless and cowardly act, as well as their families and loved ones. As Californians we stand ready to help our neighbors in Nevada in any way possible.”
