Secretary of State Alex Padilla Visits Students at Lincoln High School
SACRAMENTO – Secretary of State Alex Padilla will visit Lincoln High School on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Secretary of State Padilla will meet with students to discuss the importance of voter registration and the role young people can play in shaping the future through civic participation.
“As young people approach voting age, it is critical that they receive outreach from elections officials,” Secretary of State Padilla said. “Nothing beats a personal invitation to register and vote.”
The Placer County Registrar of Voters office will also be present to assist eligible students who want to register vote.
